Health Disclaimer
Read this before starting any Vitalane programme, and before acting on anything you read on this website.
Not medical advice
Everything on this website and in our communications is general information and health management guidance. It is not medical advice and should not be relied on as such. Always seek the advice of your doctor or another qualified health professional with any question about a medical condition, and never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you have read here.
Talk to your doctor first
Consult your doctor before starting any weight management programme, changing your diet significantly, beginning a new exercise regimen, or taking any supplement — particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, taking prescription medication, or living with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney or liver disease, thyroid disease, or a history of disordered eating.
Supplements and meal replacements
Products supplied within a Vitalane programme are foods: meal replacements and food supplements. They are not medicines. Statements about them have not been evaluated by any medicines regulator, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Follow the labelling and your consultant's directions, do not exceed the stated dose, and stop use and seek advice if you experience an adverse reaction.
Results vary
We do not promise any specific outcome. Charts, timelines and examples shown on this website are illustrative of how a programme is structured, not a forecast of what you will experience. Weight and body composition respond differently in different people for reasons that include genetics, health status, medication, sleep, stress and adherence.
Eating disorders
Weight management programmes are not appropriate for people experiencing an eating disorder, and can be harmful. If you are struggling with your relationship to food or your body, please speak to your doctor or a specialist support service before contacting us. If you disclose this to us, we will decline the programme and say why — that is not a judgement, it is the correct response.
Emergencies
Do not use this website or our messaging channels to seek help in an emergency. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.
Third-party content
Where we link to external research, laboratories or partners, we do not control and are not responsible for their content or services.
