Vitalane Health

Service system

Five phases, one loop

Vitalane is a managed health service. Assessment leads to a written plan, the plan is delivered with nutrition and coaching support, and maintenance keeps the result. Each phase is a defined deliverable with a defined end point.

Phase 01

Deep assessment and metabolic evaluation

Nothing is prescribed before we know what we are working with.

Body composition

Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry or high-precision bioelectrical impedance analysis to measure skeletal muscle mass, visceral fat area, basal metabolic rate and water distribution.

Biomarkers

Insulin sensitivity, inflammatory markers, lipid metabolism and gut microbiome diversity, arranged through accredited partner laboratories.

Lifestyle interview

Dietary structure, sleep and circadian pattern, chronic stress load, and current activity habits — captured in a structured questionnaire and a live consultation.

Laboratory testing is arranged through licensed third-party providers and is subject to local regulation. Availability varies by country; we confirm what is possible in your jurisdiction before the programme begins.

Phase 02

Your personal plan

A panel of four disciplines reviews the assessment together and writes a plan document specific to you.

The plan is yours to keep, and it states what is being targeted, over what horizon, and what the review points are. If it cannot be written down, we do not recommend it.

Registered dietitian

Sets energy targets, macronutrient distribution and the meal pattern; owns every subsequent revision.

Health manager

Coordinates the schedule, testing, check-ins and the flow of information between the panel and you.

Exercise rehabilitation specialist

Builds a training prescription around your composition, joint history and available time.

Counsellor

Works on eating behaviour, stress response and the psychology of adherence.

Phase 03

Precision nutrition and formulation support

Dietary pattern

We use calorie-restricted diets, low-glycaemic-index patterns or higher-protein patterns depending on your metabolic profile and your life. Rotation between patterns is planned rather than improvised, and food comes first in every version.

Formulation support

Where the plan calls for it, meal replacements and support formulations are matched to the gaps in the diet: protein and micronutrients maintained, energy reduced, lean mass protected. Selection, dose and duration are set by your dietitian and reviewed at every check-in.

What "calorie control without nutrient loss" means in practice

  • Protein intake held at or above target while energy falls
  • Micronutrient coverage checked against the restricted diet, not the pre-diet one
  • Fibre and fermentable substrate maintained to protect gut function
  • Satiety planned into the day so adherence is not a matter of willpower
  • Resistance training paired with protein timing to defend lean mass

Support formulations are food supplements and meal replacements. They are not medicines and do not treat any disease.

Phase 04

Behaviour and movement

The programme ends. The habits have to outlast it.

CBT-informed coaching

Structured work on emotional eating, binge episodes and the trigger patterns behind them, delivered in one-to-one sessions with a counsellor.

Exercise prescription

Aerobic and resistance training programmed together and scaled to your starting point, with progression rules written in.

Phase 05

Maintenance

The phase that decides whether any of the previous four mattered.

Structured reverse

Energy intake is restored in planned increments rather than all at once, with composition tracked through the transition.

Long-term review

Scheduled check-ins after the active programme closes, so drift is caught in weeks rather than years.

Delivery

Digital tools, human decisions

App and wearables

Smart body-composition scales and, where appropriate, continuous glucose monitors sync into your record so both you and your dietitian see the same trend line.

AI-assisted logging

Meal photo recognition and energy estimation reduce the friction of tracking. A registered dietitian reviews the week and makes every clinical adjustment.

Coaching cohorts

One-to-one or small-group check-in groups on WhatsApp, opt-in only, with peer accountability and same-day answers to practical questions.
